I will not begin to go into the rest of the Island of Wight except to say there is something for everybody's holiday whether you like dinosaurs, beaches, walking, cycling, fossils, scenic views, pretty villages and cottages, stately homes (oh Osborne), galleries, donkey sanctuary, wildlife, flowers, gardens (Ventnor Botanical Gardens), zoos (Flamingo Park), eight golf courses, tennis, swimming pools, skating, riding, sailing, squash at Sandown, bowls, cream teas, boat trips or coach trips. Wherever you want to go on the island “it is not very far”. Although many of the cliffs, like the photo below of the Needles, are white, the Island is spelt Wight, not white.
